Maggie Berg, MS, MFT-IT is a supportive and curious therapist who helps clients make sense of their inner world & navigate life with more clarity and intention. Maggie is a marriage and family therapist with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families better understand themselves and their relationships. She works primarily with adults & young adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges—including communication struggles, emotional disconnection, and conflict. Maggie's approach is grounded, collaborative, and attuned to the realities of everyday life. She often incorporates Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients explore the different parts of themselves, which can strengthen self-awareness, acceptance, and a sense of balance. Maggie also integrates DBT and cognitive-based tools to support emotion regulation, shift unhelpful thought patterns, & strengthen communication. While these approaches guide her work, she brings in a range of tools based on what feels most helpful for you. Above all, Maggie strives to create a safe, supportive space for meaningful insight and growth. As Stephen R. Covey said, “Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply.” Maggie loves this quote because it captures that real connection starts with listening—not to fix, but to understand—and that’s what she strives to offer in every session.
Maggie works with clients (individuals and couples) ages 18 and up.
