Lindsay Sherwood, MA, LMFT, specializes in working with couples and individuals, applying concepts and methodology from the Gottman Method and Terrence Real’s Relational Life Therapy (RLT). Additionally, she has experience in autism, trauma, adoption, attachment issues, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety, navigating supports within school systems, behavioral problems in children, and parenting skills. Lindsay has an MA in Clinical Psychology & 10+ years of clinical experience as a therapist and diagnostician helps her to work with her clients using a systemic and well-integrated approach. Additionally, Lindsay is one of the few clinicians that is able to administer standardized assessments (she has extensive training and experience with ADOS-II & CARS2-ST/HF)) for Autism Spectrum Disorder for children ages 12 months and older. Lastly, Lindsay has been trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) through EMDRIA.
Lindsay works with clients (individual and couples) ages 16 and up. Lindsay works with clients for diagnostic Autism evaluations ages 12 months and up.
