Dr. Sheila Gissibl, Psy.D

Dr. Sheila Gissibl, Psy.D is the original founder and owner of Hope for a Better Tomorrow.   She passed away on 1/22/26 after a long battle fighting Multiple Myeloma cancer. This loss is deeply personal for our team and for the many individuals and families whose lives were touched by her compassion, vision, and unwavering commitment to mental health care.

Sheila was a psychologist specializing in individual and couples therapy. She had a wide variety of experience and was a graduate of the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology (WSPP).  Her passion was to work with clients to compassionately heal those experiencing anxiety, addictions, depression and bipolar disorder. In addition to being a prominent therapist, she also found the value in teaching and educating young minds at Mount Mary University and WSPP.

Sheila believed profoundly in meeting people where they were and created a space rooted in dignity, understanding, and hope. Her vision for the quality care of individuals grew into a clinic defined by care, integrity, and human connection. We are honored to carry forward the values she instilled in every aspect of our work.
